Re: Photoshop CC 2014 is MUCH slower than Photoshop CC in a side-by-side comparison.

I am also experiencing super duper long lag and sometimes full on crashes with Adobe CC 2014. It takes forever to even allow me to try and open a document as after Adobe CC 2014 loads it just sits there not letting me choose / click on any of the menu items. Also another issue I'm having when it does work briefly is that Adobe CC automatically changes my fonts as I'm scrolling through the list of fonts rather than waiting for me to actually click on a font I want to use. This dramatically slows me down.

I'm running Windows 8.1 professional 64bit

Dell studio XPS i7 processor 2.7Ghz

24GB Ram with 96% allocated in Photoshop

8MB Cache, 36 History Steps,

3 Scratch disks with plenty of room

Intel 530 - 260GB Solid State Drive for Operating System,  Programs & scratch disk

3TB Toshiba 7200rpm 64mb cache for storage and scratch disk

3TB Seagate External connected via usb 3.0 & used as a Scratch disk

2TB Seagate External

2Tb Seagate External

and CS6 and CC were both running extremely smooth before installing the new update for CC 2014

now both CC and CS6 are running slower and CC is almost at a standstill.

I do have a little over 5600 fonts loaded on my system which may cause a bit of a bottleneck when loading but it used to be once it loaded the fonts Photoshop would do fine after that.

I'm currently running a test on my fonts as I noticed one time a bad font set was causing a ton of my problems before in Photoshop CS6.
