I have Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, which worked well. I installed it as a download, upgrading from AA Pro IX.
I recently did a system refresh, which removed all third party software from my computer, including Acrobat. I am able to download the program, along with the download manager and the application manager and the creative cloud. While I can install the program, upon the first attempted running of the program, I get an error message indicating that the Adobe Application Manager is either missing or damaged.
I have installed and re-installed the application manager over 10 times, and installed and reinstalled Adobe Pro XI each time, but cannot get past the error message. I have used the Adobe cleaning software between installs, but nothing works.
HELP!
